Riccardo
Garcia Riccardo Garcia received his Master of Architecture degree in 1991 from Universidad InterContinental, where he graduated magna cum laude. His post graduate studies include four diplomas : real estate appraisal, Broker certification issued by Mexico's federal goverment, business administration and ISO 9000 QA/QC standard. From 1990 to 1992 he served as Architectural Staff in one of the top Architetectural Atéliers in Mexico, working for Pedro Ramirez Vazquez in the project design of the World Trade Center in Mexico City and Mexico´s Pavillion for the 1992 World Fair celebrated at Seville, Spain. Until 1998, he served as Architect & Project Manager in two different Construction Management firms, coordinating teams of structural and field engineers in the inception and completion of over 150 residential, commercial and industrial projects. During this time he specialized in Business Development and marketing of Design-Build services to multinational corporations. His project participation involved front end communication with Owners, concept development, pre-construction analysis, detailed design, cost estimating, construction management, project start-up and project delivery. In the fall of 1998, Riccardo Garcia relocated to the Mayan Riviera while participating in the team that designed and built the 2000 room LTI Palace Hotel in Puerto Aventuras (mainland across Cozumel). Simultaneously, he was commisioned his first Cozumel project : a privately owned pier in bustling downtown Cozumel. Both projects were developed using precast concrete technology and developed in a record time. Both projects were delivered by late 1998. Based in exceptional performance, new projects in Cozumel were commisioned shortly thereafter. In the summer of 1999, Mr. Garcia was commisioned three more piers by Hotel Casa del Mar and Playasol Beach Club (currently Playa Mia beach resort). In October 1999, Mr. Garcia relocated to Cozumel Island and is a permanent resident since. Being a dive enthusiast, CEDRAL is named after his favorite dive site. |

Alfredo
Reguera Alfredo Reguera received his Master of Architecture degree in 1992 from Universidad InterContinental in Mexico City, where he graduated with fellow colleague Riccardo Garcia. They both met in college back in 1985. His post graduate formation includes : structural engineering, construction management and investment project management. In 1991 Alfredo set up his own architectural and construction practice based in Mexico City. His firm Grupo Dessein SA de CV designed and built over 100 residential and retail projects throughout Mexico. In August 2000 he relocated permanently to Cozumel and merged into newly formed Cedral as a senior business partner. Through investment oriented acquaintances, Mr. Reguera developed for Cedral the Chan Nahil concept, which resulted in Cedral Homes' first residential development endeavour back in 2004. |
